Dan is a seasoned financial and business executive with extensive experience in the public accounting and lending sectors. As a partner in public accounting firms, Dan’s primary focus was providing management advisory services, accounting, auditing and various consulting services to healthcare and not-for-profit entities. He was a CPA for the majority of his career. 

 

Dan later worked for a specialized finance company that was acquired by Pacific Western Bank in 2013. He was a director and strategic planner there, primarily with the healthcare lending platform, until retiring as a senior vice president in 2022. 

 

Dan grew up in Prince George County, Maryland and graduated from The Catholic University of America with a combined BS degree in Accounting and Economics. He currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife Barbara, who is the executive director of a nonprofit senior living community. Dan has volunteered his time over many years serving on several not-for-profit and for-profit Boards of Directors as chair, treasurer, advisor and committee member.

 

Dan welcomes the opportunity to join the prestigious Board at YMG and to work with them and management to further its mission training diverse youth in under-resourced communities.
